As the founder of Chef Shawn Osbey Catering, he curates luxury events that range from intimate private dinners to large-scale corporate celebrations, all marked by his signature creativity and attention to detail. From Danbury to the World Stage Born and raised in Danbury, Connecticut, Shawn discovered his passion for cooking early on — often choosing to stay inside on snowy mornings to make breakfast for his family while his brothers shoveled the driveway. That joy in the kitchen would spark a lifelong pursuit of culinary excellence. Chef Shawn pursued a degree in Business Management from Hartwick College before attending the Connecticut Culinary Institute and launching a Las Vegas career. There he apprenticed under renowned chefs Charlie Palmer and Sam Haze. His talent and leadership quickly led him to Executive Chef positions at premier resorts including The Mirage and Aria, where he refined his high-end approach to food and hospitality.
